What this checks
This tool looks at your website the way a visitor's browser and a search engine would, then reports what it finds in plain words. It fetches your homepage once, checks your certificate, reads your page and its settings, and asks Google's speed lab how fast the page is on a phone. Nothing is changed and no mail is sent.
For speed it reports how quickly your server starts responding and, when the speed lab is available, how long your page takes to become readable on a phone on cellular data. For security it checks that your connection is secure, that the plain address sends people to the secure version, and that a few protective settings are in place.
For mobile and search it checks that your pages tell phones how to size themselves, that you have a title and a summary for search results, that there is a single clear heading, and that search engines are not accidentally blocked. It also flags the quiet things that make a site look neglected, like a copyright line that stopped years ago.
The full report ends with where to start, the top few fixes ranked by impact, and a section that puts your own numbers against what a slow site can cost. Every finding is something the tool measured, never a guess about your business.
Questions people ask
- How long does the check take?
- Usually under half a minute. The tool fetches your homepage, checks your certificate and settings, and asks Google's speed lab, then reports back.
- What does it check?
- Speed, whether your connection is secure, whether the site works on phones, the basics search engines look for, and a few common settings that quietly slow a site down or hurt its ranking.
- Do you store my report?
- A report is kept for 90 days so you can share the link, then it is deleted. Anonymous scan logs are kept for abuse review. Nothing is sold and there are no ad trackers.
- Why does mobile speed matter so much?
- Most small business traffic is on a phone on a cellular connection, which is slower than the office wifi you test on. Google also ranks sites on their mobile speed.
- What is the cost estimate, and what is it not?
- It combines your own three numbers with a published range for how many visitors a slow site loses. It is an estimate to show the scale of the issue, not a precise figure or a promise.
