Bug muncher

A website wireframe, full of bugs, and three troublemakers who would rather you left them alone.

Bug muncher is a maze chase. You steer a muncher around a wireframe of a web page and eat the bugs. Three troublemakers chase you, and touching one costs a life. Eat a backup disk and for six seconds the chase runs the other way and you can eat them instead. Clear every bug to win.

Controls

  • Arrow keys or W A S D to move
  • P to pause, M to mute, R to restart
  • On a touch screen, swipe across the stage
  • Your next turn is remembered until it fits

Ambusher. Aims for the tile four ahead of you, not the one you are on.
Spambot
Drifts. Picks a fresh direction at every junction, so it is hard to read.

Direct. Comes straight for the tile you are standing on.
